David has over 13 years’ experience in internal & external audit, transformation and business process consultancy services. He was with KPMG prior to joining Tricor Axcelasia in 2014. 

He is leading the Corporate Liability and Business Process Consultancy Unit and has managed various investigations, business process improvement reviews and business process analysis engagements of manufacturing, plantation, construction, healthcare and education sector. He has also led a business process re-engineering of a regulatory authority where he has spent more than 6 months. The business process improvement/ re-engineering exercise includes a detailed study on the current business process, business process interdependency and value analysis, provide recommendations on improving key operational and internal control gaps on existing practices, and a detailed blueprint of the future state business process flowcharts and SOPs documentation. 

David led a few corporate liability engagements including providing training for Board members and Management. He was also the internal audit and forensic accounting engagement team leader for various listed companies involved in manufacturing, healthcare, construction, energy, distribution & automobile industry.

He has led more than 50 financial audit engagements for various listed and multi-national companies involved in various industries. He had also co-led an audit centralisation engagement for one of the MNCs listed on New York Stock Exchange. The audit centralisation engagement was an effort to align the audit of group entities in Asia Pacific region, with the ultimate goal of achieving greater audit efficiency and providing service par excellence to the client. 

David had the responsibility to facilitate several external audit foundation courses as well as was actively involved in the departmental audit centralisation and improvement projects, during his tenure with KPMG. The abovementioned initiative was aimed at achieving audit efficiency and effectiveness.
